Introduction
Game Summary Pitch
My Heart is an experimental game about love and emotions. You must destroy emotions or boss shells before they reach you. But don’t forget—every shot reduces your health, so you must shoot wisely.
Player Experience
The game features four bosses and two normal levels as a tutorial. Every time the player dies during the process, they move to the next level. Don’t forget—the important thing is that, just like in real life, when someone breaks your heart, life goes on. The game reflects this idea in the same way.
You shouldn’t invest your real emotions in everyone if you don’t get anything in return. The game reflects this concept as well: every shot reduces your health points, so you must shoot wisely
Theme Interpretation (Your heart is always will be broken)
Hopeless' Interpretation: If the player finishes the game without a broken heart (a challenging task), the game moves to a 3D level featuring a high-tech rapid-fire heart thrower. But don’t forget—you have limited time.
Take a look at the letters coming toward you they have special meanings. The background is a real-world location because this game uses a gamification process in reverse. I believe games shouldn’t distance us from reality. Instead, games should reflect our daily lives, weather conditions, and more.
Primary Mechanics
Fuse time shells
Players must manually control the fuse time of their shells using the Spacebar. The trajectory line shows where the bullet will explode and spread shrapnel.
Left and Right movement
The player can move left and right to make accurate shots.
Shoot consumes your health point
Every shot consumes your health points. If you shoot too much, your heart will break easily.
Girlfriend call with a timer.
You're calling your girlfriend while spending your health points. If she answers your call (100% chance), your health points are fully restored.
Audio
I used audio for the background, mostly adding the heart monitor sound when the player fires or is destroyed.

Upcoming features
Bosses: Bosses should appear on the screen in 3D form and, after a while, disappear into the background.
Enhanced Enemies: Introduce more engaging enemy types and unique enemy designs.
Player Progression: If the player avoids destroying their ship during levels, they must remember objects associated with their girlfriend, like earrings or vinyl collections. Collecting these items should allow the player’s ship to level up.
Improved UI: The user interface must be more visually appealing and intuitive.
